Hi Natalie,
Thanks for blogging a couple of times. The POCC as I said is the people of color conference. We are growing up in a global world. People from all parts of the world are living with us and we can learn so much from them. We met with teachers and students from NJ yesterday. They were from The Hun School, Kent Place, Princeton Day School, Lawrenceville School, and others. We all attended a workshop led by these talented students from New Jersey. The students told us personal stories hoping to inspire us to be leaders in our schools. I hope I meet the challenge and hope I can inspire all in 3B to be models for leadership too! See you tomorrow.
Sincerely,
Mr. Buckley

Hello to Oliver
Hi Oliver,
Thanks for writing. Boston is a super town, but we've had no time to get to Fenway. The POCC has almost 3300 people attending with almost 1300 students taking part. We are learning that all people can show leadership, no matter how old they are, no matter if they are principals, teachers, or even students. We've also learned that we all must work together. (sounds familiar doesn't it?) See you and all of 3B very soon.
Sincerely,
Mr. Buckley

Hello to Solomon
Hi Solomon,
Thanks for posting to my blog. Boston is a great city. You'd love it here because I've see the Red Sox logo everywhere. The conference is terrific. We have been inspired by teachers, students and professional speakers. One speaker, Marcus Mabry, is the international business editor for The NY Times. He's from NJ originally and wrote a best selling biography about Condoleeza Rice, the Secretary of State for President Bush. All of these amazing people can inspire us all to set our goals high and reach to achieve them. See you soon, Solomon.
Sincerely,
Mr. Buckley

Hello to NL Mystery Blogger
Hi Natalie,
Thanks for blogging so much. Yes, I did figure out who the Mystery Blogger was even before the JM hint was given. We did not have time to get to Fenway but maybe I can see it over the summer. Since you love writing you'd probably like to know that journalists were important speakers at our conference. They were there to highlight the integrity and tenacity (good spelling words) required to be a journalist. Both were especially brave people of color who successfully rose from modest backgrounds. One man has even been threatened because of the investigative reporting he's done. But he continues to print the truth he finds. Keep up the writing.
Sincerely,
Mr. Buckley

See you tomorrow, Mr. Buckley!
Dear Mr. Buckley,
What did you do during the weekend? I hope you had time to relax. Here is what I did; I went to the adventure guides induction ceremony yesterday. I didn't get to do my Monongahela skit because no one else came!!! Earlier today I went to my local animal shelter. It was very fun to play with the cats. My dad lit a fire a few minutes ago and the heat is making me feel sleepy. I feel much too tired to go to school tomorrow. Speaking of school, time is flying so fast! I can't believe it has already been 4 1/2 days since you left for Boston! Anyway, it's getting late and my sister is going crazy so I have to go.
Your Student,
Hadyn

Dear Mr. Buckley,
I hope that you had a great time! What happened at the POCC? Was it fun or was it a bit serious? I hope not!
My weekend was very fun! On Saturday, I went to a store called "The Beaded Path" with my friends. We took a class in jewelry making. I made a mobile for my room, and a necklace with matching earrings. Then I went to my friend's house and we played dress-up. We put on a play and I played a prince. My friend's uncle is a photographer and he took a great picture of me too!
